Etsy Featured Seller: Gina Meow

We at BtanJerine love the idea of using things that were meant for one purpose for something else.  Ok so there's a word for it, repurposing.  Its really a great way to think out of the box, and a great way to recycle.  And we are all about recycling!  Here's a little statistic I didn't know about recycling.

The United States is also the world’s largest trash producing country at 1,609 pounds of trash per person per year.  What this means is that just 5% of the world’s population produces about 40% of the worlds waste and with the total rate of recycling in the United States being only at about 28%; well, there is a great need for improvement.

That brings us to our featured seller Gina Meow.  Gina has creativity in every part of her body, I think even her pinky toe! :)  And she has an amazingly artistic eye!  Just look at this great smock for a toddler.  We love her repurposed little girls dresses!

Bridal season is just around the corner. And there are some great trends in store for 2011! There is so much to talk about when it comes to Bridal... really so much... So we are going to start with one of the most important parts of wedding planning: THE DRESS!!!

What's old is new." Hummm, we like that! Using vintage apart of your wedding will definitely give your wedding a unique feel. As with most vintage,  anything you use that is vintage can tend to be one of a kind.

January 24, 2009 A Wedded Affair

Jean-Marie does ..........She really enjoyed doing the hair for Louise's wedding. Louise wasn't accustomed to wearing much jewelry. But Jean-Marie was able to show her how even after her wedding she could wear her jewelry with her everyday wardrobe. And what a great memory, to think of your wedding everytime you put your earrings on! Way to go Louise!

Jean-Marie and I collborated on something that would suit Louise's style while being a little fun at the same time. So this is what we came up with...............
